I am Daniela Perez Nagel. I am Product and Textile Designer from Santiago, Chile. Specialized in Textile and Surface design in Australia and Spain. My passion is related with everything about Design, Arts, Patterns, Colors and Textures. I also love to teach!
My approach to life is to open the creativity in others and share experiences with creative people around the world. I strongly believe that through colorful designs and different expressions of Art you can make people happier!
I studied Digital Textile Design at RMIT University of Melbourne. Since then I have fusionated all my passions and I started to create my own fabric collections.
In the last few years I discovered 2 new passions in my life: Textile Design and Teach. In 2018 I lived in Europe for 2 years where I organized Workshops in different countries to teach Digital Textile Design (Budapest, Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Milan and Rome). I think is always important to learn new skills so I took courses about textile design in LCI Barcelona and Berlin. I lived in Europe for 2 years, where I was traveling doing Workshops. I also had the chance to teach design at the Fashion School Accademia del Lusso in Milan and I collaborated doing Workshops with the specialized Concept Store for Indepent Designers Lone Design Club in Milan.
In 2021 I founded in Chile La Tiendita Textil which is the first online store of exclusive fabrics made in Chile by Chilean designers and also by designers around the world. In La Tiendita Textil, different designers have been invited to participate to create exclusive collections to be sold in the shop. Many of them have been students of my renowned Digital Textile Design Workshop. This initiative has generated a big community of creative women who have joined this project to show in the market a great variety of unique, quality textiles, different styles full of identity, expression of ideas, art and creativity.
Currently I am living in Santiago, Chile doing a lot of projects with fabrics and patterns, and also teaching Digital Textile Design online Workshops in English and Spanish all over the world.
